If we spent as much time moving our bodies as we do texting or emailing on our phones, I think we may just find ourselves exhausted!  Haha! I propose that during this week, each day, you make note of the number of (personal) text messages or emails you send.  For each one–you owe your body some type of exercise:  5 push ups, 5  crunches, 5 squats,  1 minute of jumping  rope. a loop (walking or running) around the block, etc.  Pick a different physical activity/exercise each day and BE HONEST!  Keep a tally (every smart phone has a notepad) of …

On Sunday, I found myself with a little free/me time 🙂  As I pulled into my driveway, I knew what I needed to do.  I stopped short of the garage and parked the car outside.  I went in the house and gathered my vacuum, a bucket, some rags and dish soap.  I was going to wash my car! Challenge your cardio and strength endurance this week.  Grab a light set of weights and combine upper and lower body work while raising your heart rate. Move of the Week 7.15.13

Due to a busy schedule, my move of the week is a late today.  Sorry 🙁  Despite the video quality, the move is actually great :)!  This will burn calories and work core, shoulders, chest and legs.  All you need is a stability ball and a good attitude! This week, whenever you have the inclination to turn on your TV…think again!  That’s right…No TV this week!  Instead, put on an all music channel (I know Directv has this so I’m sure cable has it too), your Apple TV, pop in your favorite CD on your stereo, or slap on you’re headphones and your best playlist. It’s Tuesday!  How have you been doing on your weekly “extra” activity?  Are you conscious of making the choice to get up and move more often?  I’m hoping so…that’s my main goal with the “To Do Tuesday.”–Hope you all know it’s not just ON Tuesday, right? 🙂 So this week…keep an eye out for stairs!  Wherever you are, if you see a flight of stairs–climb it, up/down.  If you are going to a doctor’s appointment, go stairs, not elevator.  If you work in an office, anytime you go in or out of your building, take those stairs.  If you don’t …
